When connected to a 3G or 4G LTE network, the live video feed from your DVR/NVR will be considered streaming data by your phone service provider and will contribute to any data or download limit your phone data plan may have. Ratings and reviews

We have had 4 cameras set up for a couple years now. Live mode works but it doesn't seem to record motion any longer. I have never received a notification in all the years I have had the system. All settings are on. I could previously see recording on TV but it seems to skip every 2 seconds or so leaving gaps in the recording. We wasted a lot of money having it installed properly for very little reason. I will be switching everything over to ring cameras in the spring. I wouldn't recommend this.

This app used to work fantastic with my dvr system. Now, it doesn't work at all. It just states connecting, but all screens are blank, so the camera footage no longer shows up on the camera feed. I also purchased the new s24 recently, thinking I would maybe be able to view it on my new Samsung. Well, I found out after multiple attempts that night owl x I not supported or compatible with the new Samsung phones.

This app will freeze my phone. *Update: now it'll randomly do this weird vibrating thing if I touch the screen and I can't get it to stop unless I shut off my phone completely! There's never been an update to this app and it needs a bunch desperately. Finding a specific time in playback is atrocious. My notifications stopped working. I can't change the time without crawling into the attic to reach the main box. NEVER get a system that uses this app. EDIT: messaged your #, no response. UPDATE??

What's new

As the year comes to a close, our App Designer felt Night Owl X and Night Owl X HD needed a fresh new look.
