About this app

The Xerox Print Service plug-in enables mobile printing to many Xerox printers and MFPs without the need for third party apps or additional print drivers. Easily print photos, web pages and documents when your mobile device is connected to a compatible Xerox printer through a wireless network. Control print settings including color, number of copies, paper orientation, staples, secure code release printing, and more.

To print your documents to non-pdf printers, please install Xerox Workplace app.

Absolutely stellar print utility! "This plugin works flawlessly in the background, making printing from my Android device to Xerox printers an absolute breeze. There's no clunky interface or complicated setup—it just does exactly what it’s supposed to do quickly and reliably. I’m giving it a well-deserved 5 stars. (Also, to answer Google's funny prompt below: no, it doesn't have 'collaborative editing'—it's a print plugin, and it handles its one job perfectly!) Highly recommended."

I had to enable the "Mopria protocol" on my printer's admin configuration menu in order to get this plugin to function. Yes, I know, that's a different app entirely, but it's the only thing I could do to get this plugin to stop telling me my Phaser 3330 was an "unsupported model" when I tried to manually add it. It's almost more trouble than it was worth. You'll know you have your configuration set up properly when the printer shows up in auto-detect; if it doesn't, don't bother with finding it by IP address. At least now I have a replacement for Google Cloud Print.

Like everyone else I've found that the app always shows the printer as unavailable until I drop down the list of all printers and re-select the printer again. This bug has existed for a very long time and still hasn't been fixed. It's so irritating that, together with the "Xerox Print Experience" that keeps installing itself on my PC, even though I don't want it, I won't buy a Xerox printer again, even though I like my 6510 a lot. Nice printer let down by the software on all platforms.
