Ratings and reviews

1 star is too high, I had 3 different eSIMs while traveling and they all failed to activate and customer service is intermittent at best taking even days to get back, very frustrating. I ended buying another eSIM from another company (and had no issues with them). The price may seem good at first with GlobalYo, but not worth the hassle when it does not work. I do not recommend Yo.

Came in very handy for my last trip. The issue I ran into is that I couldn't activate the service when I landed. I thought it would automatically connect to the new network but it doesn't. I couldn't complete the activation process until I got to the hotel and connected to the wifi. Now I know to complete the process before I get on the flight to another country while I still have data so it automatically connects when I land. I wish they had said that in the app.

Internet will disconnect occasionally and you'll have to restart your phone or do some other song and dance. Support is slow and incompetent. And even though support initially told me that it's no problem to port the eSIM to another device, now that I have bought a new phone, they say it's not possible and I have more than 50% of the time and data left. More than $50 loss. Better choose a professional provider. Of course, Ricardo never replied to my emails.
