About this app

Send files between your phone and any other device on the same Wi-Fi using nothing but a browser. No cable, no cloud account, no app to install on the other side.

HOW IT WORKS
Start the server on your phone. It shows a web address and a QR code. Open that address in a browser on your laptop, tablet or another phone — that is it. Drag files in to send them to your phone; tap a file to download it from your phone.

WHAT YOU GET
• Works with any browser: laptop, tablet, another phone, a work computer
• Drag and drop uploads, or use the file picker
• Transfer queue with progress, speed and estimated time
• Pause, resume, retry and cancel individual transfers
• Transfer history so you can see what went where
• Choose where received files are saved
• If a file with that name already exists, the new one is saved under a different name automatically — nothing is overwritten
• Auto-stop the server after a period of inactivity
• Android TV supported, with full D-pad navigation

ACCESS CONTROL
The phone shows a six-digit pairing code generated from a cryptographic random source. Three wrong guesses from the same device trigger a growing lockout — starting at 30 seconds and doubling up to 15 minutes — so the code cannot be found by trying, while other devices can still attempt to pair. Once paired, each browser gets its own access key that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, or after 12 hours at most.

BE CLEAR ABOUT THE NETWORK
Transfers go directly between your two devices over your own Wi-Fi. Nothing passes through a server of ours, because there is no server of ours. The connection is plain HTTP on the local network — it is not encrypted, so use it on a network you trust, not on open public Wi-Fi.

Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.

Requires Android 10 or later.
