About this app

Zolia is a symptom tracking app built out of frustration.

Prior to Zolia we tried a zillion symptom trackers & found that they fell into two camps - either too simple to track what we wanted or too slow and energy intensive to be sustainable. The idea with Zolia was to build something that bridged this gap - flexible and customizable enough so that you can track whatever you need while also making the actual logging efficient.

The way Zolia achieves this is through it's unique use of "sessions". A session is a group of things that you log together. For example, you could have an am session where you track sleep quality and morning meds, an evening session where you do a daily reflection and log your symptoms for the day, a walk session where you track steps, and how you felt. You can create session types for whatever situations make sense for you & they can be either scheduled (ie every day at a fixed time) or "anytime" where you create them as needed.

Zolia provides a set of widgets that allow you to track anything you need - symptoms, medications, ratings, measurements, factors, menstrual cycle, events, fatigue, energy, mood, etc. You never have to choose what to track from a fixed list but can always set up exactly what you need.

Zolia can be a simple symptom diary where you log one thing once a day or it can be a detailed tracker for multiple conditions at once -- POTS, dysautonomia, ME/CFS, Long Covid, fibromyalgia, IBS, endometriosis, migraine, chronic pain, and more.

Zolia will automatically look for connections between the things that you log and includes tools to allow you to explore your data as well.

Privacy: Your health data is stored entirely locally and never shared with external servers or LLMs. You can setup optional automated backups to your own Google Drive. You can choose to password protect these backups. There are no accounts & we never have access to your data. You can export your raw data via CSV or SQLite at any time.

Pricing: Basic logging, data entry, and data exporting on Zolia will always stay free. In the future, some analytics features will become part of an optional premium tier, but you will never be locked out of tracking or accessing your own daily data. Anyone who logs on any 14 days before that happens will get 50% off the premium tier for life.

Note: Zolia is a personal tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. Always consult your doctor regarding your health.
The efficient and flexible health & symptom log with powerful insights.

I have severe MECFS, and even with brain fog, I was able to get it set up. No more generic 0-3 scales! Zolia can go to 10 AND let's you customize the text, colors, and symbols, so I don't have to remember how I was interpreting a generic scale. I made a custom section to add my Garmin data. I can log naps and add all of my sleep sessions together. I can tag things I used to log in a note and see actual stats on those things. It gives me data on trends & patterns. And the graphs! ๐Ÿ˜100% recommend

Really, really good. SO customizable in every place you could hope for and the insights function is really promising. Best health tracking app I've tried yet. I have less need for all its functions now honestly but it would've been incredible help when I was earlier on in my chronic illness journey. Very glad for the privacy policy too, and how none of the key functions are paywalled!! Zolia team you are stars

Thank you for the review! Glad Zolia is working well for you. For full transparency - everything is free now and logging will stay free, but some insights will eventually become premium. Always happy to answer questions about this or anything else at hello@zolia.app. -Christine
