With ČSOB Smart you have the whole bank and insurance company in your mobile.

Why it is great to have ČSOB Smart

2. You always know how much money you have, both in your current and savings account, and even on investments account.
3. It makes payments easy, even settlement of an invoice, thanks to the possibility to scan it from a QR code.
4. You have a perfect control of accounts, mortgages, loans, insurance and other ČSOB products.
5. You can change your card limit, display forgotten PIN code, or temporarily lock the card, and it all takes no time.
6. It allows you to easily arrange a loan, savings, investments, travel insurance and other products.
7. Here you may manage your insurance contracts, report an insurance event and monitor its handling progress. You can also find here your insurance documents, such as your Green Card.
8. You can customize it according to your needs, adjust the order of the products or set the dark mode of an app.

Ratings and reviews

The very basic features like sending money or managing debit cards work, but other than that the app is full of useless bloat and spam. I use only about 10% of the landing page after signing in, rest is just ads. App regularly spams with useless Kate AI and discount coin notifications. Features that I would like are very barebones or nowhere to be found - e.g. account balance chart can only show last 30 days and doesn't show separation by expense category.

EDITED: Doesn't work on android 14. After one moth of csob claiming they are working on it and replying even to this comment it has been fixed. Not much has changed (now it's not possible to run it even after reinstall). The app works a bit better but is far away from fixed. Still very buggy. Sometimes can't open it. Everytime to open the app you need to login again, notifications don't work. Basically completely unreliable

Broken features...No support from CSOB. Even when you switch the app to English language, several of the screens (The "book an appointment" screen for example) are still displayed in Czech language only. The "call me" feature only works with Czech telephone numbers. If you have an English telephone number listed as your contact number...you can't get a call from CSOB. (I did try reporting this in-app but they just told me to contact my branch). Plus- Setting up regular payments is a nightmare.
