About this app

The tonies App makes your Toniebox even easier to use!

Once registered, new users can use the app to activate their Toniebox. Existing users can use the app to access various features of their Toniebox, Tonies and Creative-Tonies content.

The tonies App features:

Tonie Collection
Swipe through your Tonies and Creative-Tonies. Add new Tonies to your household.

Recorder
Use the recording function to record stories or favorite songs for your little listener. Download this content onto a Creative-Tonie for a truly custom Toniebox experience.

Control Panel
Change the settings for your Toniebox including its name, maximum volume, or the Wi-Fi network.

Household Management
Invite new members to join your household or give existing members the authorization to edit individual Creative-Tonies.

I am very surprised by this app and not in a good way. This is virtually an app to setup your toniebox and then discard. There is literally ZERO functionality! You can set the volume max for the box, dim the led light and buy stuff... that's it. Very very disappointed that you have zero control and/or preference settings. You cant even check the battery life! Such a waste.

I can't get the app to even open. Over the last month I have tried several times a week to open the app and have uninstalled and reinstalled it at least weekly. I was trying to be patient because of the tonie2 launch, but this is ridiculous. I am so frustrated especially because to record content for the creative tonies you have to use the app which never opens.

While registering for the app I explicitly made sure the checkbox for their marketing newsletter was unchecked. When I clicked the continue button, I noticed the checkbox became checked on its own. I was unable to go back to change it. I hoped it might be a visual bug, but I just received my first marketing email from them. Despicable marketing practices, especially in a children's toy.
