The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

Good app with useful information but after the recent update this issue has arisen. For the BMW IO1 i3 Rex & BEV home screen SOC % is correct, but the range value is now incorrect. However, when you dive one screen further in, the correct range values are displayed there. Hopefully this post will be noticed and the issue addressed ASAP. Seem to be the same issue for both Android and IOS users.

I have not had any of the issues that others describe here. The app has been rock solid as has the connection to the car. I find it useful to send destinations to the car's sar nav, track journeys and fuel economy. Provides easy access to the user guide. Could be improved by notifying me if the alarm is triggered like MyMercedes app does. Overall though very usefuk.

Very good app as it is useful for controlling and getting info of your car. Reliability of the app is good as well, so far have not experienced any crashing. I would give it a 5 star rating if it has EV charging location recommendation for a planned trip. I know the app does offer it in certain market, but not here in Malaysia. Hope this will be available soon here
