Ratings and reviews

So so - somewhat easy, just like for other software or apps, though the Lohnsteuer scan didn't work well. No real explanations so I had to Google to not guess. Overall, not very transparent and I had to search for the actual return. App made a mistake on the return (applied deductible for married couples instead of single, though I entered it correctly). If you speak German, there are better apps that are more clear and easier to use. The customer service is courteous and helpful though.

This app is a lifesaver for us immigrants/expats. Not only it explain every single step in clear English, but the whole process is a breeze. It is infuriating that the German government doesn't invest in a good national system for tax declaration, like other countries (like Brazil) do, and we have to pay apps like this so to have a minimum idea of how they want us to declare. No complaints against the app, you devs save our days, and I really appreciate having it in such scenario ❤️

The worst thing I've ever had. They just charged me for a fake tax without my permission. I have a tax refund on another app and here I have to pay the exorbitant app fee first and then get the tax refund. This is completely unfair. Other apps are cheaper and very helpful. I had to give one star.
