From the Rhine-Herne Canal to the Wananas? Or from Gysenbergpark to the Cranger fair? With the HCR app you can find your ideal connection in the local transport network of HCR and throughout the VRR. Is there a delay on your route? The practical helper will also inform you about this.
FUNCTIONS and FEATURES
• Timetable information: For your connection search, select a starting point, a final stop, the departure or arrival time and the means of transport that you would like to use for your journey by bus and train.
• Trip overview: Choose between a graphical or a tabular display of your trips, depending on which display you prefer.
• Departure monitor: You don't know when the next bus or train is leaving at your stop? The departure monitor shows the next departure times of all public transport at your selected stop.
• Personal area: For regular journeys by bus and train, you can save your most important destinations in your personal area and in the future you will receive important information at a glance.
• Bike routing: by bike to the bus stop or from the bus stop to your destination? The app shows you how the bike can best be combined with the bus or train.

The HCR app is valid for the timetable of the buses and trains of the Herner ÖPNV as well as for the entire Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR). Of course, the app also shows you connections to neighboring transport associations.

The HCR app applies to the timetable for local public transport (ÖPNV) in the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr. The VRR extends from the Ruhr area to the Lower Rhine, over parts of the Bergisches Land and the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf.

The VRR borders in the north on the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Münsterland (VGM), in the east on the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Ruhr-Lippe (VRL), in the south on the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV) and in the west on the Netherlands.
