About this app

Get the Bluetooth signal strength of the devices you are connected to and the Bluetooth devices around you. This is useful for finding the best place to connect to them, or also for finding your Bluetooth devices in case you've lost them, as long as they're still turned on and visible. In addition to the Bluetooth signal strength, other relevant characteristics can be observed, such as the name, the MAC address, etc.

A big question mark. On Pixel 9 Pro XL, it does not detect any bound or connected devices, even next to them. I live in a building and it shows a long list of "unknown, unbonded and unconnected" devices. Distance to devices is looks random, showing many at 1m and below, no matter how I change my location. I bought the app a while ago to assess the real range of a computer's problematic BT connection around the apartment, but it looks that I am out of luck for now. Very frustrating. Uninstalled.

Have you enabled the necessary permissions for the app to work correctly? Ensure the devices you're searching for aren't connected to another smartphone, as this can make them invisible. If Bluetooth connections are saturated, try restarting the app. Distance is only an estimate, use RSSI for greater accuracy. Regards 🤓✌🏼.

3 stars for 2 reasons. First, the app can tell you the Bluetooth devices around but it is very difficult to find the buds. In my case, when I finally could connect with the buds, it just lost connection. But the other reason is, even if you cannot connect to the device, if the app detects the Bluetooth spot, it tells you how close it is. In my case, it was very helpful

On some smartphones, scanning for connected Bluetooth devices is limited; just restart the app. I'm glad the app has been useful to you despite this inconvenience. Thank you for your comment. Regards 🤓✌🏼.

I lost one of my hearing aids while doing yard work. My hearing aid app would connect when I got about 10 feet away, but it couldn't give me the exact location. I downloaded the Bluetooth Signal Meter and gave it a try. A signal strength of 100 pct put me within about 5 feet. I then used the estimated distance reading to get within about 4 inches. From there I found my hearing aid under about 2 inches of leaves. This is a wonderful app and I highly recommend it!
