About this app

Sitting all day at a desk job leaves you stiff and low on energy. Deskbound breaks up long sedentary workdays into a series of tiny squat breaks, so you move more without breaking your flow.

Whether you work from home or in an office, Deskbound is a simple stand up reminder built around small movement breaks. During your active hours it nudges you to stand up, knock out a quick set of air squats, and get right back to work.

HOW IT WORKS
- Set your workday window (a start time and an end time) and an interval, like every 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes.
- Pick a minimum number of squats per round (the default is just a handful).
- During your active hours, Deskbound reminds you. Stand up, do a quick set of bodyweight squats, log how many you did, and carry on. It paces you so you stay loose without breaking your flow.

Set it once. The app does the rest. Squats only. No equipment, no gym, nothing to buy. Just stand up and move.

THE HABIT ENGINE
- Streaks are the main motivator. Track a current streak and a best streak, each with a clear alive, at risk, or broken status.
- Daily scoring. Every day is scored Perfect, Solid, or Broken at the end of the day, and a true rest day stays neutral.
- Normal and Strict modes. Normal is forgiving. Strict raises the stakes with stricter scoring, where a broken day resets your streak.
- Achievements to unlock as you build the habit.
- Weekly challenges. Chase a This Week goal and look back through your challenge history.
- Friends and a leaderboard for today, this week, and all-time. Add friends, send a nudge, accept requests. It is built for accountability, not a noisy feed: no comments, no likes.
