As soon as you have this app on your phone, simply enter the location you want to go to, and one of our drivers will transport you there quickly and securely. We have a taxi close to almost anywhere in Denmark, and we'll let you know the cost before you place your booking. If you're environmentally conscious, an electric taxi might be the best option for you and may be selected directly in the app, at no additional cost to you. Do you require an eight-passenger van, travel with a bicycle, or need more capacity for your luggage? Our app matches all your needs – just make your selection, and place your booking in seconds.

We cover where you are
Since we are nearly everywhere in Denmark, you can book a taxi from four out of every five Danish homes. When in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg, or in most other larger cities, our 1,800+ taxis are available to serve you around-the-clock. Our app is essential for airport travelers, as it is the only taxi app that can be used from any and all of Denmark's major airports.

Do you want to pre-order a cab, or do you need one right away? In both scenarios, the app relieves your worries and, in the rare case we are already at our capacity, lets you know how long you have to wait for our service. You can track your taxi's progress to your pickup, directly on your phone screen and contact the driver, even before your taxi arrives at your doorstep.

No surprises in the final taxi price
You can book a taxi, even if you want to know the final price in advance. You may unwind and enjoy the journey with a fixed fare, but you are of course also free to pay by the meter, if that’s what you prefer. We offer a variety of payment options, including the ability to pay instantly from the wallet function embedded in the app, or pay directly in the taxi, with a card or cash.
Electric taxis
You can place the environment first and make electric taxis your top choice. We have one of the largest electric taxi fleets in Denmark, and we continue to add more each week. As a result of this focus, our electric taxis are now available in an increasing number of towns and cities. You can make your taxiride more friendly for the environment, with just a single click of a button.
Safety above all
Your safety is our top priority. The greatest drivers in the business are at your disposal through us, and all our taxis have all required authorizations by Danish law, for transporting passengers. All of our drivers are in possession of professional drivers licenses from the Danish Transport Agency. You receive an email with a receipt and trip details after each trip with us, and may always retrieve your trip history, directly in the app. You are also given a choice to rate your experience with us and thereby provide valuable input for us to improve the app or experiences further.

Business agreements
Does your company have a Business Priority agreement with Dantaxi? Then you might be able to reap alle the benefits, simply by registering your company email – and might be able to get advantages when you use the app for private trips as well. Ratings and reviews

As an American tourist in Copenhagen who is used to Uber and Lyft, this worked very well, and I noticed that the "app price" is always cheaper than the meter price. Only two negatives: (1) the app will sometimes say that the driver will "be there in X minutes" when they're actually already there, and (2) it only gives you their name and taxi ID to find them and not all drivers have the correct taxi ID visible on their vehicle.

Poor - the SMS code that needs to be sent to my phone to setup an accout or to make a booking without setting up an account, never arrived - I suspect it's because I have an international phone number and thus do not have a Danish phone number... I'd love to be able to use the app, but it fails every time

This is definitely the worst taxi app I've ever used. First off they start by taking the money from your card before the driver even picks you up. If he decides to cancel the money doesn't reverse instantly. Two drivers cancelled on me and now I have the equivalent of 70 Euros taken from my account. The vehicle license plate is not shown on the app so there is no way of knowing which taxi your driver is in. If you're a tourist please don't use this app. It's an absolute mess. Zero stars!!!
