About this app

PayPhone converts your ordinary smartphone or tablet into a secure payment terminal and enables the acceptance of transactions requiring a PIN. The solution works with EMV contactless cards and their virtual equivalents.

To start using PayPhone, you need to sign an agreement for accepting KBSmartPay payment cards (Worldline/SIX):

Main function:

• No additional hardware is required;
• Strong security procedures are in place. Security level approved by VISA and Mastercard;
• The solution received a PCI CPoC security certificate;
• Designed for Android 8.0 or higher operating system;
• Independent of the device manufacturer. It runs on all devices with the minimum required version of the Android operating system, Internet access and NFC module;
• Accepts payments using Google Pay, Apple Pay wallets and wearable devices.
• Accepts contactless payments, including those that require a PIN;
• An additional PIN PAD applet is required to accept a PIN transaction. It is installed directly from the main PayPhone application. Follow the instructions in the app.

Important notes:
For security reasons, we need to make sure that nothing is obscuring the view of your app during the checkout process, and use the AccessibilityService parts of the API for this. This means that we sometimes need to use and process the names of other applications and processes that are active on the device.
