With the HSL app you can buy tickets for Helsinki region public transport, find the best routes and get targeted traffic information. In the HSL app you will find e.g. single, day and season tickets for both adults and children. Bus, train, metro, tram and ferry ā all with the same app. You can pay easily e.g. with a payment card.
In addition to tickets, there is also a journey planner in the HSL app. Journey planner tells you e.g. the best route and the ticket, which is needed for the route. In the HSL app, you can also see up-to-date transport information for the areas and lines you have selected.

If it's not broke dont fix it. Just get it right and chill with the updates . Ever since this latest version if you buy a ticket and go use another app ex: spotify to listen to music on your trip, your route is lost and you have to search all over again. It keeps prompting you to buy a ticket when you already have one. Tickets fail to load in a timely manner which gets you left at the bus stops, and it crashes constantly. It was so much easier and simpler to use before this version.

I have the app around 4 years after I came to Finland and it was good, I use it every day, but never had so many problems with the route planner like now. I have the feeling that with every update it works worse. App freeze or cannot connect with server very often. It's super annoying when you want to plan your journey fast and it's not possible due to all time problems š

This app has an ongoing problem on which it needs to be reinstalled in order to purchase a ticket. The payment by card is messed up. You already knew that students are now having problems purchasing a ticket as studies are not being recognised and it hasn't been fixed. You have to allow us to purchase our tickets on service points or website without charges because your app is just trash. It's insane we have to depend on it when it doesn't even work.
