About this app

FitToFit allows you to transfer your fitness data from Fitbit to Google Fit. The data is queried directly from your Fitbit account and inserted into Google Fit. To do this, you must first log in with your Fitbit account and give FitToFit access to the data that you want to transfer. You will then be asked to connect to your Google account, into which the data from Fitbit should be inserted. FitToFit uses the access and your data exclusively for the transfer from Fitbit to Google Fit. Your data is not stored outside of Fitbit and Google Fit.

FitToFit can handle:
- steps
- activities
- distances
- heart rate
- sleep
- oxygen saturation
- weight
- body fat
- food
- water

You can select and change the data types in the app settings.

NOTE: It may happen that the data you transfer is not immediately visible in the Google Fit app, because it will take a while for all the images to be updated.

With the AutoSync feature, the steps can be automatically transferred from your Fitbit account to Google Fit. If you prefer manual synchronization, the reminder function helps you to remember this. Both functions can be activated under the menu item "Settings" when required. The AutoSync function allows you to choose between different intervals.

This app is available in English and German.

Fitbit is very finnicky when it comes to data. I like having everything backed up in one spot, just in case let's say my watch is COMPLETELY lost or stolen heaven forbid, basically if I never get it back, I'll still have a copy of all of my data regardless. The app is pretty well done though I don't understand why there's so many limits on how much data I can transfer, made first setup a little tough catching up with everything I had to save. But all in all this is a great grass roots made app.

Most of the features work really well. And the value for the price (essentially free) is amazing. My only real complaint is the sleep tracking. This app counts sleep as the time from when you first fall asleep to when you last wake up; this means that any awake times you might have throughout the night would be counted as sleep. I would prefer if FitToFit only counted light, deep, and REM periods (as listed on the FitBit app), but this probably won't be much of an issue to anyone except restless sleepers and insomniacs.

I don't normally leave reviews, but it's rare to find good free apps that just work, and don't barage you with ads. It does exactly what I wanted it to and does it with zero hassle. I'm leaving a 5 star review in the hopes that other people pick up a great app that will absolutely take care of their "FitToFit" needs. If you like the app think about leaving them a 5 star review too, and consider donating (I did!) to support/thank them for making a great product ad-free.
