About this app

La Pochette keeps all your important papers in one place: ID card, certificates, prescriptions, payslips, bills, contracts, warranties… You scan them, you file them, and they are backed up securely.

SIMPLE AND FAST
Scan a document in seconds: the edges are detected automatically, the image is straightened, and you can save several pages. You can also import PDFs and photos you already have, from your phone or from a computer.

FIND ANYTHING INSTANTLY
Search for a word inside the content of your documents and find it straight away, even with no connection.

YOUR DOCUMENTS, WHENEVER YOU NEED THEM
Export the document you need, email it, or print it. Simply, from the app.

FILED AUTOMATICALLY
The app files your documents directly on your phone, without going through any outside service. You always confirm the suggested category. Every category can be customized.

YOUR PAPERS, IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE
Every document is backed up automatically and kept safe. If your phone is lost, stolen or broken, you simply sign in again on a new device to get all your documents back.

PROTECTED, EVEN FROM US
Your documents are encrypted directly on your phone, before they are backed up. Our servers only ever hold unreadable data: we cannot see the content, the titles or the categories of your papers. You alone can open them, with your unique key. It is drawn at random when your account is created - it does not depend on your password. As it is the only way in, we make you save it when you sign up, so that a lost phone never becomes a lost vault.
A stolen phone will not talk either: the app's files stay encrypted on the phone's storage too. Without your biometrics, they are nothing but unreadable data.

STORED IN FRANCE
Your backups are hosted on servers in France, in compliance with the GDPR. Your data stays in Europe and is never sold.

YOUR PRIVACY, RESPECTED
No advertising, no trackers, no data resale: these are ruled out by design, not by a mere promise.
* No cloud AI or third-party API ever sees your documents.
* No advertising trackers, no invasive third-party analytics.
* No back door: we cannot decrypt a vault, so there is no "assisted recovery". Saving your key is the only way in - this is deliberate, and stated plainly.
* No phone number collected (GDPR data minimization).

NOTHING HOLDS YOU BACK
You can export all of your documents at any time, free of charge. Your data belongs to you.

Premium: from €0.99/month (local currency applies) - up to 10 GB of storage, that is more than 5,000 documents.
