I really enjoy being notified of gas increases in my area. However, as of recently, I've been receiving notification of "Trip in progress," as if I didn't know I was driving... This notification cannot be removed until I'm done with my route and is super inconvenient considering it doesn't show any gas stations on my route, so overall, it's a pointless notification and urges me to alter my setting to rid of notifications from this app completely. I suggest that if you keep this notification to add on destination option which would allow users to see what stations are on their route.
New update tracks everywhere you go be default. Even after trip detection was turned off and force closing the app, the app was still using my location services. Trust lost forever with these guys. Uninstalling the app and recommending others to do the same. Edit: Location services setting of "while using the app" looks like an IOS setting. Haven't been able to find it on an S7 w/android 7.
I used to really enjoy this app and found it to be useful and reliable. However, in the last few days it automatically starts up while I'm on the bus in the mornings! Which is not helpful nor wanted. I don't want it starting of it's own accord!! I don't need to buy gas everyday and if I want to consult the app I'll open it myself. Cut out the trying to second guess me!
Good didn't out weigh the bad. Prices and locations were accurate. Google maps did a better job of finding more locations and integrated the locations into my trip smoothly. Also, devs, want a sure fire way to get me to uninstall? Make the default a notification that I cannot dismiss or swipe away that appears when I haven't manually opened the app or asked for it's services. Again, not bad, but not for me.
The app has gotten bloated and nosey as hell. Why do you people need to know my every move. It used to be a fun little game that I participated in each day reporting prices; now it's using 12% of my battery and spying on me. I'm gone.
