Using this for a year or so now.. Overall the idea and usefulness of expo is 5/5. Execution of product 3/5. Comments aren't wrong, tons of issues, for me worst is how horrible debug mode is, and how it screws up things even when you turn it off, to the point of needing to Uninst. And install to work again. But many connection issues ppl complain about can be easily solved with a few google searchs and making sure you are connected to same wifi router at home on devices.

Very very very buggy. Although I can't blame them ... as a developer I can only imagine how difficult it would be to make an app that compiles javascript into an app and runs it. Still, they're a company run by multiple humans, so they should have a product that's not this unforgivable buggy mess. When it works, it's amazing. Most of the time it doesn't though. Crashes a lot.

I used Expo for my first React Native project for university, and it's been a game-changer! Expo's simple CLI and seamless integration with React Native make development a breeze. With features like hot reloading and instant previews, iterating on my app was a joy. The documentation is excellent too. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, Expo is a must-have tool for building great apps.
