Session Studio is the must-have collaboration tool for music creators who want to manage their song rights, from the studio right through to release.

The Session app collects all creator metadata and ensures it’s injected authoritatively into the music ecosystem, facilitating correct creator credits and accurate, timely music royalty payments. Make music, get credit.

This app requires access to the camera to allow users to take photos for uploading to their profiles and song/playlist covers.

Ratings and reviews

App is decent except: Songs stopped playing for me. When I hit the play button on a song, the loading circle never stops. Happens to all songs, and also if I attempt to play from a playlist; Playlist links open in browser instead of the app; Collaborators cannot be added to groups of songs through a playlist, they must be added individually to individual songs. Very tedious; No song sorting/folders; Songs details can't be accessed through playlists.

It is a great app and helps our band organize songs we are working on. I know we don't use it to its fullest potential as of yet, so I can't give the most accurate review, but one thing I'd suggest is the ability to share images. I know when we make chord charts for songs, it'd be nice to be able to send those into the app as well. Which would help in some of the production of the songs.

Seems like a fantastically accessible way to organise song credits and collaborate over distance with musicians. However it really deserves an "album" feature, to organise groups of songs into a folder. That folder can have access permissions in of itself, saving a lot of button presses for those of us working on multiple projects or projects with many songs.
