About this app

Share the Web! Ceno is the world's first web browser that gets better with every installation. Offering a common Internet browsing experience, it relies on a peer-to-peer technology to deliver and share websites among all participants. Ceno can also be used to bypass network restrictions and browse content during a shutdown.

Ceno is a completely free and open source browser that doesn’t require registration. It is completely ad-free.

We collect some anonymized app and network metrics. No personal information is collected and the data is never shared with third-parties. Metrics collection is enabled by default, users can opt-out of it any time via the `Settings > Background metrics > Ceno Metrics` toggle. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information about what we collect.

🔓 👀 Access blocked media and other websites. Free and anonymous in Personal Mode.

🚫🌴 In case of a internet shutdown in your region, you will still be able to read news and stay connected.

📱🤝📱 Live in a country with free internet access? Help people in other countries bypass censorship and access independent information with just one tap. Learn more on our website.

📖👐 Ceno Browser is built on Ouinet, an open-source library. You can check the app’s code on GitLab.

🛠🦹🏻 Our product may experience instability due to the constant evolution of censorship technologies. We are continuously improving it to ensure you maintain access. If websites load slowly or don’t open, please don’t delete the app — try using it again in a few days or contact our support team: support@ceno.app

See the User Manual for more details on Ceno usage or contact us at support@ceno.app. We love receiving feedback and are continuously improving Ceno for its users!

Brilliant idea that sometimes just breaks down. I think its an incompatibility with my device hardware so its hard for me to be too critical. Firefox, tor, and mull all run into the same problems. Unfortunately this means it can't be a daily browser for me, but I highly encourage everyone to give it a try. It may legitimately help make the internet a better and more accessible place by making shared data available to all in poor connectivity zones such as rural Appalachia

This is probably the most powerful tool I installed on my smartphone in a while. Although, despite the fact that the browsing the web "just works", I don't seem to be able to install any extensions. The app just hangs on "downloading and verifying" and does nothing else... That's frustrating

Indeed, we do not allow the installation of extensions except for 20 for digital security. We know this is an issue and are working on it. Thank you for bringing it up!

Very interesting project on the p2p concept. I didn't like:1)that even in private Browsing mode the Anti Tracking Protection of DuckDuckgo had to block MANY tracking attempts by the app,2)in the search bar it autofills what I write and erases it countless times before I can launch search,3)only1 search engine. Solve those problems and it'll be worth 5stars instead of 3. Still your work is very commendable so I'll give 4as an encouragement 👍. But keep the updates coming😉🫵!
