About this app

KharchaOS is a notebook for your money, not a wallet. It never sends, receives or holds
money — you pay the way you always do (UPI, cash, card) and KharchaOS just keeps the record.

Two tools in one: a private expense tracker for your own spending, and a bill splitter for what you and your friends owe each other. Stop juggling a budgeting app and a separate "who owes whom" app.

SPLIT WITH FRIENDS
Create groups for trips, flatmates or dinners. Add a shared expense, split it equally or by custom shares, and KharchaOS keeps a running tally of who owes whom. Add friends by name and email so you always pick the right person.

KEEP SETTLEMENTS STRAIGHT
Money between you and a friend lives in one running balance — what you paid and what you got back, netted. When you settle up in real life, record it here and it shows in the group history as "You paid Anuj ₹500", so both sides agree. Note which account it came from and every balance updates.

TRACK EVERY RUPEE
Log an expense in seconds with amount-first entry. Tag the category, note the exact account it came from — UPI, card, bank, wallet or cash — and you are done. A UPI entry is recorded against the bank or card behind it, so your real balances stay right.

SEE WHERE IT GOES
A dashboard that answers the only questions that matter: what is my balance, how much budget is left, and what did I spend this week. Filter by day, week, month or a custom date range and every screen follows along.

KNOW YOUR HABITS
Category breakdowns, spending trends and cash-vs-digital splits over any period, so you can see the pattern before the month ends.
