The old "myMTA" app was slow, janky, and unreliable. This is leagues better and now has enough features to replace the third-party app I was using (as well as having to pin PDF maps offline in Google Drive). I love being able to Favorite stations as well as lines, and I find it very easy to use. My problem is that I can't use this offline whatsoever; I get a Google Play interface telling me to connect again, so I can't even use offline subway and bus maps. View offline schedules would be nice.

Thank you for your feedback! Stay tuned for more updates and improvements. Regarding the offline issue you experienced, if this is still happening, can you please report this within the app (and include a screenshot, if possible)? In the "More" tab, tap the "App Feedback" button and follow the prompts. This will help us troubleshoot.

This app doesn't open if you have no Internet connection. It says: you're offline, try again or notify me. It's galling because after a half decade or more of development it finally features: offline maps, for when you're in a train between stations, experiencing an issue, and need to reroute without a connection. But you can only use that in the off chance you'd opened the app before being underground without a network. 🤬 Still happens; feedback send with screenshot (Play Store blocks opening)

Thank you for your comment. You should be able to open the app without an internet connection and access the Offline Maps. If you are still experiencing an issue, please let us know by submitting feedback via the app: Open "More" tab, tap the "App Feedback" button, and follow the prompts.

The app could be glitchy but overall it made sense - now, with the total revamp, the whole user friendly interface has disappeared. I'm not talking about having to get used to something new - things that were centrally located are no longer, things that were collected for convenience (ie, delays, planned reroutes, etc) are no longer. It takes so much longer to click through to the train schedule and it just feels silly.
