Absolute garbage compared to the old one. Harder to navigate and always inaccurate. Continues to be garbage. Inaccurate and slow! Update: This app continues to be unreliable and inaccurate. No idea what improvements are being made but they're not passing through to users! Appreciate the mtas response but this app continues to be inaccurate. Not sure what they did to improve it but the previous app was way more accurate and user friendly.

11/20/24 The latest update broke the app for me. It crashes or hangs on opening. This new app is nice in concept, but in actual use is so much worse than the old MyMTA app. Having to search for subway stations by exact name (don't type 'West 4th' or you'll never find 'W 4-Wash Sq') is beyond frustrating. All user flows to find arrival times are generally slower, especially when waiting for a GPS signal underground.

The app could be glitchy but overall it made sense - now, with the total revamp, the whole user friendly interface has disappeared. I'm not talking about having to get used to something new - things that were centrally located are no longer, things that were collected for convenience (ie, delays, planned reroutes, etc) are no longer. It takes so much longer to click through to the train schedule and it just feels silly.
