Ratings and reviews

A great way to manage your two-factor authentication. However, I have a bug to report. When I try to export my two-factor authentication keys in an encrypted fashion, it seems like the app continually spins once I've created a unique password for that encrypted file. When I hit cancel it allows me to download an unencrypted file. But I've yet to be able to download an encrypted file with a password.

Ente auth is great. I'm very happy with it. I dislike Authy because of it's walled garden, being locked in, with no way to transfer or recover codes bothered me, Similar situation with google-authenticator. For a long time i used Aegis on my mobile, but the lack of cloud sync was a minor issue. Ente just plain checks all the boxes for me. Open-source, Cloud-sync, Clean interface, Mobile & desktop clients, Ethical Company. Their photo backup solution (ente photos) is great too.

Best app! There was a glitch where the QR code scanner was not working right but I think that has been fixed. Now they just keep adding new features and it gets better and better. Best yet the developers have kept it open source and allow you to export your data under like certain AUTHorization app competitors. Overall I love this app for all these annoying but necessary 2-factor codes.
