Tailmates turns walking your dog into a game you both win. Track a walk, earn points, build a streak, collect badges, and move a longevity score with the people who walk with you.
A longevity score you can move
At Level 10, Tailmates can show an evidence-informed longevity score and an estimated range based on the profile and activity data available for your dog. The score can change when those inputs change. It is a wellness estimate, not a diagnosis, prognosis, treatment plan, or promise about lifespan. If required profile data is missing, Tailmates says so instead of guessing.
Every walk earns something
Start a walk, run, hike or bike ride and Tailmates tracks route, distance, pace, time and steps with live GPS. Finish to earn points and keep your streak moving. Badges mark real walking, streak, social and care milestones, and a home screen widget keeps the streak in sight. Miss a day? Start again tomorrow. No guilt, just momentum.
Someone is walking right now
Live now is a directory of walks, runs and rides happening this minute, listed only by the people doing them. Join one from wherever you are, or send a cheer. It shows a city, never a route.
Walk together from your own street
Open a walk to friends and it becomes a walk party. Everyone walks their own route at their own pace, and you still see each other the whole way: live pace, one roster, one chat. Nothing in the party carries your location.
Every cheer has a name on it
When someone cheers you on mid-walk, you see who sent it, right on the walk.
Send a card, get company
Every open walk starts on its invite card. Share it in one tap, and packmates can join you from their own street. After the walk, post it to X, Threads or Instagram Stories with the photo, or straight to your Feed.
A pack walk with no place to be
Schedule a virtual meetup and everyone who says they are going joins the same party at the same time, from wherever they are. Packs can also set a standing weekly walk, run, hike or ride.
Your whole pack
The Feed shows activity from everyone, ranked, and you can add anyone as a packmate from their post. Join communities, find scheduled meetups, and compare on global and friends leaderboards and weekly leagues.
Optional lab-verified data
You can add a wellness blood panel through a veterinarian. The laboratory data can inform the score after review, with your veterinarian kept in the loop. Tailmates provides educational wellness information and never replaces veterinary care.
Scout, when you choose it
Tailmates Silver includes Scout, an optional AI assistant. You choose which saved Tailmates data sources Scout may use, and you can change those choices in Settings. Scout can make mistakes and asks for confirmation before taking a supported action.
Research is a separate choice
If you separately consent to contribute eligible data, it may support research conducted separately from the app experience. Tailmates is not a study, and using the app does not make you a research participant. Research choices can be changed independently.
Optional memberships
Tailmates Plus adds deeper insights, trends, and member benefits. Tailmates Silver includes Plus and adds Scout. Monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions and renew unless canceled in Google Play before renewal. Core walks remain available without a membership.
