We know well that the best trip we can offer you must reserve as few surprises as possible. For this reason, we have completely redesigned our app with many new features that allow you to travel with complete peace of mind.

Use the Cotral app, make yourself comfortable and travel on board our buses, Metromare and Rome-Viterbo trains.


▶ WHAT YOU FIND IN OUR APP

- Calculate the route: tell us where you want to get to and our travel planner will tell you exactly which means of transport to take, including Atac and Trenitalia.

- Buy the ticket directly in the app and when you board the bus, remember to validate it by scanning the QR-Code.

- How long before the bus leaves? In the Stops section you will find the real time waiting times for your bus. Not only that! You also have information on the real-time crowding of the vehicle.

- Consult timetables: all trips are updated to the millisecond and you can also add your search to favorites to consult your timetables faster.

- Public transport is the most sustainable way of getting around. In the Profile section, find out how many CO2 emissions you have saved compared to using the car.

- If you encounter any problems with your Cotral, report it via the appropriate service: a broken seat, a dirty floor, a stop button not working. Help us improve your Cotral experience.

One of the buggiest apps I've ever used. It's almost impossible to do basic things without getting presented with non-helpful technical error codes. Login with Google doesn't work properly, creating an account with a non-Italian phone number doesn't work, Google pay doesn't work, translations are so bad they are misleading, the search function often gives unexpected results, the issues go on... I'm genuinely proud of myself that I managed to buy a ticket with this app

Stupid app of a strange company. Can not filter direct transport or fastest, every step shows error, accept only IT phone number, can not pay by card in the bus but can not register in the app either. Buying ticket cost more than double on the bus than in the app, the bus driver cannot give back from 20 euro. This a shame in Italy. Even in a distant island you can buy bus ticket with card of in the bus and don't charge double price as you are a tourist

it does not give you enough time to read and select a destination from the drop down menu. you cannot easily set it to simply show the next available bus. you have to keep re- setting the times and have to try and guess the time to enter. there are many times when the app does not show any buses when there are buses
