Read4Me is a sophisticated system of reading and managing phone notifications. It can be used while driving to listen reading notifications, (through the TTS system), without taking your eyes off the road. This is one of the possible uses. In particular, the app has a voice-activated interface that enables you to manage it without using the touch screen. Read4me, indeed, reads to you the messages received via hangouts, whatsapp, etc
In addition, the reading messages can be heard on your car stereo thanks to a bluetooth device: in particular, the app activates the speakerphone automatically without requiring source selection.
Read4me has a sophisticated system of configuration and filtering of notifications. You can decide which app you want to set up: in this way the app will acquire notifications and you can set its default behavior (acquisition, reading, removal). You can also define filter rules in order to decide which notifications you want to acquire, read, or remove from the notification bar.

I like this, but there are some glitches. I have Android 10, on the Nokia 5.3, and it gives me a Java.io exception when I try to send an error report. Also, I noticed that the free version is revision 1.8.6, and the pro version is 1.8.3

The reporting function i checked works maybe it didn't give permission for the file system? while the closure that does not happen can happen depending on the version of Android unfortunately I have no way to test. Thank you for feedback

SORRY I was WRONG with my first rating. It works great on Samsun S21+. I confused on how to set it up. Again I'm Sorry

Don't worry it can happen. Thank you for your feedback. The phone app when there is a call generates two notifications one with the number and one with the name of the contact you can configure the app so that it does not read the one with the number. Can't find a way to choose 3rd party voices, like those from Acapella.

The choice of voice for TTS is that of the telephone. Just go to the Text-to-speech output settings. After changing the settings, you need to completely close the app and reopen it.
