[Special access permission]
- To display the battery meter on top of other apps, grant the permission of "Draw over other apps" the first time you open the app.
- To display the battery meter directly on the lock screen, select Enhanced Mode and enable the use of "Accessibility Service".

[Restrictions for Android Oreo (8.0) users]
Due to Android OS security improvement, it is not possible to show Battery Meter Overlay on top of the status bar. So Battery Meter is always shown below the status bar.

I had to replace a battery app with 2 new apps because it was not up with modern Android restrictions. This battery meter is good at what it does. I can customize the percentage boundaries between green, yellow, and red. I choose to show percent sign with white numbers on dark background. I set it just below the camera cutout.

Used to work well until recently. Now it keeps shutting down and I have to keep restarting manually. What happened?

needed a replacement for 'energy ring universal' since that has disappeared from store & this came close. Found out only £2 to get pro etc so went ahead. THE FOLLOWING DAY I 'lost' pro features... but got it back only AFTER connecting to WiFi only. NO mention about 'Pro features NEED WIFI'.Not happy with this feature - don't know what other hidden 'features' app is doing in the background so requesting refund & unistalling
