Ratings and reviews

1. There are too many advertisements in the free version. Some advertisements are "deceptive" as it can SEEM like the ad is necessary for whatever function (mirroring, remote control, etc) the user is trying to accomplish with the app. For example, when selecting the mirror function, an ad pops up for another app for mirroring the phone to the TV even though this is not necessary for the function. 2. The high cost for ad-free versions is subscription-based and is not worth it.

Omg this app is absolutely terrible, stops working, hangs, basically unusable. I have 1GB high speed wifi connection and the app is failing on it. I bought the LG TV because it had high ratings and the additional app controls and casting were supposed to be available for the TV and unfortunately this is super disappointing. I would not recommend using because... you won't be able to. Doesn't even work if you want to try it out and test, why would I pay for a malfunctioning application?

Once you get the hang of how to connect (and disconnect) to your TV, this app works quite well. The remote control is easy to set up-tap Connect at the top of the screen then select your TV. Putting your phone's screen on your TV is more involved, but once you figure it out you'll like this app. One small glitch I've found is if the remote doesn't work when you exit screen cast, close then rerun this app. Overall, once you figure out how things work, I think you'll keep and buy this app. I did.
