Ratings and reviews

I downloaded this app and was prompted to choose a subscription or a "3-day free trial." I chose the free trial, expecting to be able to cancel if the app didn't work for my needs (because that's literally the entire point of a free trial), however, my PayPal account was automatically charged $26.74 through from my GooglePlay account for a "lifetime membership" for this app. So, this wasn't actually a "free trial." They just charge you $26 automatically, which is extremely fraudulent.

app only connects to a TV that is currently connected to Wifi. Doesn't help you if you need a remote for a TV you haven't used and can't turn on because you don't have a remote. Plus, the app is littered with other ads that prompt you to download other BS remote ads. Then they want $22 per year after the "3 day free trial" and won't let you try before buying for a smaller time frame. Terrible app and experience. Wish I could give it ZERO stars

I was so surprised this app had such high ratings. I downloaded the free version. Right in the middle of changing the volume, rewinding, fast forwarding, etc, an ad will pop up and get in the way of what I'm trying to do. I would have upgraded, but the weekly and monthly cost is exorbitant. The annual cost is reasonable but once I locate the remote us unnecessary.
