About this app

Shared kid expenses with approvals and audit trail. Add an expense, the other parent approves or disputes it, the running balance updates. Receipts attached, history preserved, exportable for a lawyer or court.

Who paid for the after-school club? How much was the doctor visit? Who bought the winter shoes? Duo records all of it — neutrally, with proof.

Built for separated and divorced parents. Also works for any two people sharing costs who need transparent evidence — not negotiation.


WHAT DUO DOES

— Add an expense — amount, category (school, doctor, clothes, food, activities…), date, ratio (default 50/50)
— Receipt required — every expense needs at least one photo or PDF, immutable
— Approval workflow — the other parent approves, disputes, or auto-approves after a set delay
— Disputes — raise a written reason, expense stays in the record (no deletions)
— Running balance — only approved expenses count; settled balance subtracts confirmed settlements
— Settlement evidence — one parent proposes, the other confirms; the actual payment happens outside the app
— Per-case ratios — different cases can have different splits (e.g., 60/40 for one child, 50/50 for another)
— One subscription covers both parents in a shared case

— Email login with a one-time code — no password to remember.
