Duo is a tool for tracking and managing shared child expenses between two parents.

The app allows you to record individual expenses, assign them to a specific child, and track which parent paid. Based on the entered data, Duo calculates financial shares and the running balance between parents.

Duo works exclusively with data entered by users. It does not assess family or legal situations, does not determine obligations, and does not evaluate the validity of expenses. It only provides a structured overview of data and mathematical calculations.

HOW THE APP WORKS

- a parent enters a new expense including amount, category, and date
- the expense is assigned to a specific child
- it is marked which parent paid the expense
- the system automatically calculates shares according to the agreed ratio
- the app continuously displays the balance between parents
