MamaBear Health helps parents and caregivers capture what is happening with a young child at home and securely share that information with the child’s care team.

Designed primarily for infants and children ages 0–5 with respiratory illnesses and flare-ups—including asthma, bronchiolitis/RSV, croup, influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory symptoms
—MamaBear guides you through a structured eCheck so important details are not lost between visits.

With MamaBear Health, you can:

• Record symptoms and your level of concern
• Add temperature, exposures, activity, hydration, and other relevant context
• Record medications and whether they appeared to help
• Capture a short guided video/audio recording so your care team can see and hear what you are seeing at home
• Complete follow-up eChecks to show how symptoms are changing over time
• Keep a history of your child’s eChecks
• Securely share an organized eCheck with your child’s care team

SEE IT
Capture symptoms while they are happening at home—not hours or days later when your child may look different.

SHARE IT
When the eCheck is complete, MamaBear creates a secure web link and access code you can share with your child’s care team through a patient portal, secure email, or secure text. Clinicians do not need to download the MamaBear app; they can review the report in a web browser.

SORT IT
MamaBear organizes the information you collect into a concise clinician report that brings together your concerns, symptoms, context, medications, video, and follow-up information in one place.

MamaBear Health supports communication and follow-up between families and healthcare providers. It is a consumer-facing, asynchronous store-and-forward health tool and does not diagnose, provide medical treatment, or replace your child’s healthcare provider.

MamaBear Health is not for emergencies. If your child is having severe trouble breathing, has blue or gray lips or face, is difficult to wake, is having a seizure, shows signs of severe dehydration, or you believe your child may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care.

MamaBear Health supports English and Spanish.
