LibrePods allows Apple's exclusive AirPods features to be used on non-Apple devices. Get access to noise control modes, adaptive transparency, ear detection, battery status, conversational awareness, head gestures, and more - all the premium features you paid for but Apple locked to their ecosystem.

While it is true that this does open up features that were not available in my Pixel, what it also does is remove any setup you may have already done with a different apple device (such as hearing aids functionality). Just beware that it basically wipes your airpods and you start over. EDIT: "wipes" was probably a bad word. When I went back to the prior iPad, it went through the initial handshake again as if new, but the hearing aids readings were there and could be applied again

This app works well about 80% of the time. I use it with a OnePlus 15, so no root needed unless you want extra features with app3, which I’m not too fussed about. My only issue is it sometimes loses connection with app3. Bluetooth stays connected and media plays fine, but ANC controls from the widget or app stop working. I usually have to disconnect and reconnect the last Bluetooth device with the app itself. Not sure if it’s because the phone isn’t rooted. Otherwise, really good app 👍

One of the best apps for Android. Devs even made liquid glass and we're paying attention to every small detail! Honestly, I'd love to see more apps like this! By the way, more AirPods features and Google implementation would be good! Edit: Hello developers! yes the music plays and pauses but I have another problem to share. The bottom sheet does not pop up when I open my airpods 3 pro case. the widgets and the control center button looks squished and dies not match ColorOS widgets. Thank you.
