GiftTracker is a gift list app, helping you organize Christmas, birthdays, and every event in between. Keep every list, every idea and every budget in one place, and always know who's covered and what's still to buy.

Create an event for Christmas, Hanukkah, a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's, or anything else you're buying for. Add the people you're shopping for, and each of them gets their own list. Events that come around every year can repeat, so next Christmas starts where this one left off.



💡 Gift ideas, saved before you forget them

Good ideas come and go. Great ideas live inside GiftTracker forever! Save an idea for later at any point in the year, with a price, a note, a photo or a link, and assign it to an event when the time comes. Anything you didn't buy comes back here when an event is archived too, so good ideas stick around.



🎁 From idea to wrapped

Gifts move through To Buy, Bought and Wrapped, so you can see at a glance who's covered and what's still outstanding. If those statuses don't match the way you shop, add your own! Ordered, Delivered, Hidden in the closet. Whatever works for you!



💵 Budgets that tell you in time

Set a budget for the event, then split it between the people on your list. GiftTracker keeps a running total of what you've spent and what you've still got to buy, and lets you know you're heading over while there's still something you can do about it. It'll also point out the gifts you haven't priced up yet, so your budget adds up.



🛒 Your whole Christmas shopping list in one go

Quickly review what you have left to buy, across every event, grouped so you can work through it in one sitting. Choose where you shop: Amazon, Target, Walmart, Etsy, eBay, Best Buy, or any other store, and go straight there. Prefer to buy in store? Just mark your gifts as offline purchases.

Lock GiftTracker behind a PIN, Face ID or your fingerprint, so a borrowed phone doesn't give anything away.

GiftTracker is free. No subscription, and no ads. Some shopping links are affiliate links, which earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you, and the app tells you when you're looking at one.

Ratings and reviews

I love the simplicity of this app and the way it's designed. However, there seems to be an issue if gift prices are left at $0 and you have 8+ items for one person. The pricing doesn't always show, even if you have a cost to the item. The loophole I found to this was making sure everything had a cost, even if it was just $1 but it made me not trust the overall costs anymore when I saw that. Also, there should be a way to sort recipients and gifts alphabetically.

Pretty good app with a few shortcomings for me. We have a very large combined family and I'd like to have a list with sections so I can put children, in-laws, etc separately instead of separate lists. It's missing a done check for each recepient. Keep up the good work! Also note that when I first installed, data entry was buggy and often froze. Nothing fixed it until I uninstall and installed again.

This is a very good, simple app that does what I need without complicated features that I'll never use. What would make it even better is the ability to reorder gifts for better organization when shopping or deciding what will be wrapped, placed in a stocking, etc. I like the ability to filter to see unpurchased gifts, but would also like to filter to see only purchased gifts.
