I was recently charged a $100 penalty due to low fuel. It was never my intention to avoid refueling the vehicle. The reason I became reluctant to refuel was because I previously experienced multiple unsuccessful fuel reimbursement claims. On at least three separate occasions, I submitted fuel receipts that were printed directly from the petrol station machine immediately after payment. However, I was later informed that these receipts were “not the final receipt""

My experience with SOCAR has been extremely disappointing. Customer service is slow and often unresponsive when issues are raised. I submitted a fuel reimbursement claim and received little to no follow-up, leaving me unsure whether the matter was even being reviewed.What frustrates me most is the fuel policy. Many vehicles seem to start with low fuel levels, yet customers can still end up facing low-fuel penalties. It feels unfair when reimbursement claims take a long time while penalty fast

I booked a car with Socar for a day trip. The car given to me had no battery, so it took 1 hour to change the car. The Service center was helpfully, but refused to add one hour to my booking. As they mention they will refund the fuel. I fueled the car, followed the procedure and send photo of receipt, but they rejected the fuel refund.
