Not bad Good game, being a red legger myself artillery always has a place in my heart. I liked the moral aspect in the game as well. Plus overall difficulty was good to great. Need to put together the right combination of weapons and use proper tactics to ensure victory. Sadly this just didn't win me over enough to buy the full version. Close but I don't think there is enough replay ability to justify the purchase. Still a great game though.
The most most unique, captivating, intricate and gratifying game on sale! Most of the complaints regarding this game talk about how difficult or impassable the game is. The game is indeed very challenging and requires a load of thought and strategy to complete but it is far from impossible. It is a perfect strategy and worth the full price. It should not be played as a time-waster as even one single match can extend up to an hour when you progress deep into the story, hence it has tens of hours of gameplay. A low bow to Hexage, I expect more great updates and games from you.
Visually stunning and challenging Redcon is a rare gem to be found among the mobile games that these days like to hold your hand through the game. Redcon is super challenging and has levels that make you think outside the box and force you to adapt. You can customize your fortress with many different weapons from traditional cannons to emp and laser weapons. The visuals of this game are also a sight to behold with stunning particle effects and explosions. This is definitely a game to get.
Had It's Ups And Downs This game is basically FTL on the ground... I bought this game immediately because Hexage usually makes good games. It's fun and engaging... until the later levels. Do yourself a favor and ONLY pick easy. This game will whip your @$$ later on in the easiest difficulty. Makes me wonder if Hexage even has independent game testers... The music from Kubatko is great though!
Amazing game, one of the best I've ever played on a tablet. Everything is really well done and this game is super fun if you like strategy. My only complaint was that it was too hard at times, specifically with regards to having to purchase weapons in order to use them. This meant that later in the game you may have spent too much money on a no longer viable strategy, but were unable to buy new weapons to try something else. Now that the developer Hexage listened to users and created an EASY mode that does away with money, this game is perfect. Props to you Hexage, I am eagerly awaiting your next game!
The only game I've written a review for 1) Generally a fun DEMO with some depth. Picking when to disable the enemy and which rooms to target really makes the game feel like a true strategy game. Not a game for people looking for something easy that plays itself. 2) You build your own base after you reach level 2 for those who wonder what's going on when they first play. 3) The permission requirements are not that intrusive.
You can play the campaign in EASY mode. EASY mode removes credits and budget planning.
All unlocked Weapons and Utilities are available for placement without purchase, making the game far less challenging.
