Rate My Routes
You can now give feedback on how safe and comfortable you feel when riding your bike on different streets in your community.
You simply 'paint' your routes with your finger. For example, red for where you feel unsafe and green for where you feel safe.
Your anonymous feedback is combined with everyone else’s on a map to show which parts of your community are in greatest need of improvement for biking.

Log rides automatically
The Love to Ride app can automatically log all bike rides, long and short, without you needing to press 'start' and 'stop.' If it determines you're riding a bike, the app kicks in and records your ride.
There's no need to pull your phone out of your pocket before or after a ride!

Ratings and reviews

I love that this app allows you to build out your own map of routes you've taken in the past. I only have one complaint and it's that often times my feedback on routes doesn't seem to be recognized as complete for many of my trips, even when I've colored the entire ride

While I've only used this app twice, it's not very effective with actual routes recording. For the record, my GPS on my phoe is set to the highest level to be as precise as possible. Yesterday's ride was 17.5 miles via my LCD screen on my ebike. This app recorded a paltry 4 miles only. The map stated that I drove on a specific thoroughfare which I didn't. Something else, with this app running in the background 24/7, it cannot decipher whether I'm on my bike or in a car. Please fix.

It has worked well for me, ever since I set it up to automatically log rides and set my nightly phone restart routine to also start Love to Ride. I like that I can correct ride modes after the fact; vehicle trips in traffic are logged as bike rides. I also appreciate how I can log non-bike trips. I think seeing how I actually choose to travel the same route different ways is telling, even to myself. I'm surprised to see no ebike option, but bike is bike. Those stats speak for themselves, too!
