if it updated it has second to non I have not seen VPN as it and another one as ?so I live in a high filter country where government insist deploy internet obviously.so it is a lion which take me safe .its no 1 I guarantee if it does not work for u .OK now you can insult to me.

Simple and functional This VPN client works very well. But users in countries with low bandwidth connection to www should not use it when children are out of school. I have used it for two years, with paid subscription for more bytes, and it has worked reliably. One unintended discovery is that Google Play shows "app"s based on IP of your country. This package certainly bypasses this nonsense, or politically motivated cooperation of Google and its government.

Great to have OpenVPN on Android! Am using OpenVPN with an OpenWRT flashed router and it is a dream. The configuration of OpenVPN took a bit of getting used to, but the end result is what counts. Fast connects, stable VPN- just what I was after. Great work!

HTC One M9 3 Star, App should save the the account and password under a profile, this will stop accidental editing if the account information when hitting connect only for the app to respond slowly and change your password. 5 star, Best thing since sliced bread, enough said! Be sure to set retry to unlimited otherwise app closes after a number retries. This is a new feature, in this version, I assumed it crashed.

Works perfectly except with Whatsapp This VPN works great, by pass ISP restrictions with no problems except with WHATSAPP phone calls which still is blocked. Whatsapp itself might be the reason !!!

Does not block when disconnected It works. What i hate is how it easily gives up reconnecting,even when set to continuously retry.also when disconnected or reconnecting,it does not block normal connection.even though I've set it to. This leads to data being transmitted insecurely... i mean there are malware that block your connection how hard can it be???

Superb offering! Highly recommend this application. I use it for personal use and set it up with minimal knowledge and effort using tge VPN AS (Access Server) running on a Linux machine. Does exactly what it says on the tin, and its very reliable.

It's good but... Sometimes when I load my ovpn file, (which I got from vpnbook, a free vpn provider which you should totally check out) it says there is an error. I usually have to reconnect about 20 times and then it loads. Other than that, great app and works flawlessly. 5 🌟 if you fix the connection issue.

Great app but.. When i'm trying to connect with samsung devices (S3, S4 and note4) i don't have access to the internet. The problem is that the DNS don't resolve the address. The same configuration are working for me fine on other devices like Nexus or LG.

Cleanest Android Interface for OpenVPN Once again, I've tried all the available apps that provide this functionality and this one is the best. I have a VPN account in Sweden that I routinely use on all my devices and this app works flawlessly with it every time. This app is also well used in conjunction with EasyOvpn, which provides importable OpenVPN profiles which can be used with this app. Indispensible for users with OpenVPN accounts! Thanks!

Delivers, but misses connect on startup option I had chosen OpenVPN app as alternative to Private Internet Access, respecting the same login credentials. I had to as PIA does not function on Oneplus devices 😭 OpenVPN connects well, works best on WiFi. I cannot tell, if successful on Chinese grounds... I will test is soon. What I miss is startup connectivity. Each connection requires manus set. Another somehow annoying thing is need to manually download of connection profiles. They could be already preloaded.

Works Great It would be nice if there were a way to build the profiles on the Android system, but this is really minor. Otherwise it works exactly as expected. It also gives just the right amount of info about the connection.

To all the people ignorant enough to rate this one star for their own stupidity. It works fine. The problem is all the idiots who don't know what they are doing and blame the developer. I paid $50 for the 500GB of data and couldn't be happier. If you can't figure out how to use this then please don't rate it one star. Also to everyone complaining it costs money, please just go use a crappy free version since you obviously don't understand that good stuff comes at a price.

Best way to bypass restrictive firewalls and browse the internet securely! An excellent system for anyone wishing to browse the internet more securely! Fantastic, multi-platform support. Personally, I've never used any free vpn services, but by setting up a cheap private server at DigitalOcean I was able to get my own OpenVPN system up and running easily and quickly. Works great!

Nice but less than reliable Seamless not reliable even with 4.4.4. Disconnects silently. Doesn't handle Verizon's rapid changes of IP address well. Not too bad when on WiFi, so okay for hiding from sniffers; less so for accessing your home network over LTE

Easy to set up and use I use a couple of OpenVPN servers and this lets me easily connect to them. Simple setup, UI isn't updated for Material but it's still decently designed, and the app supports both commercial and private providers.

Startup and disconnect Great app with some minor niggles, niggle 1 : you should be able to disable the two notification windows ( why two ? ) niggle 2: it would be nice if you could specify start and stop scripts from the gui. Mind you I can't get them to work doing it manually with the "up" "down" options in my ovpn file. Good effort but could be great cmon guys ! Edit: no longer working with lollipop - it gets a connection but I can't ping the server nor do I have Internet access

Amazing Meanwhile, I wanted to give 4 starts because of a particular issue but at the same time, open vpn has made me to experience unlimited Internet which I have not had before. App is good but my complaint is inability to connect two devices at the same time using my Android hotspot with my tablet, unless I disconnect one. I hope you Guys will fix this, thank you.

Blocked I'm enjoying unrestricted access using this app for quite some time but now my ISP was able to find a way to block OpenVPN... I tried all profiles but failed.. I have the screenshot of the logs, how can i send it to you? Other tunnelling apps like psiphon continues to connect successfully, FYI...

Typically Android Every other app, ya just click & connect. This requires importing profiles that I don't have, don't know how to get. Convoluted confusing complicated... Android. Betternet is better. It's Apple smooth.
