About this app

Does your car stereo keep up with your social media? If you have a Bluetooth car stereo, it's pretty likely that you can get your text messages on the screen, but what about social media updates and calendar events?

With BT/notify, we can forward pretty much any Android notification to your car stereo's screen. If your car can show a song title when you are streaming your music than it can display all of the information that's important in your life. That means that when you install this app, you can see social media updates, calendar reminders, emails, and messages from other applications.

When a new notification comes in, BT/notify will play a notification sounds and display the notification where your car would otherwise show song information. That means that your stereo will briefly show the notification where the song title would be displayed.

If your car has a larger display, we show the message sender as the song artist and the app that created the notification as the song album.

This app is a great way to get more out of car infotainment systems that don't have full phone integration.

Version 3.1 fixes a bug that occurs when other apps scan for Bluetooth devices. This release also addresses screen layout on Android 15.
