WHAT Nutshell DOES
• Capture text your way — scan a page with the camera, pick a photo or screenshot, paste text, or share text and images straight into Nutshell.
• Summarize on-device — Google’s on-device AI turns long text into a short, honest summary. Choose 1, 2 or 3 bullet points.
• Keep what matters — copy, share, or save any summary to your history, stored only on your phone.
• Honest by default — if there isn’t enough readable text, or your phone can’t run on-device AI yet, Nutshell still extracts the text so you can copy, share or save it. It never invents a summary.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Summaries are generated entirely on your device using Google’s on-device AI (Gemini Nano).
• Your documents, photos and summaries are never uploaded, and there’s no account to create.
• Works offline once the one-time on-device AI model is set up.
• Nutshell is free and supported by ads. The internet is used only for those ads, usage and crash diagnostics that help fix problems, and the one-time model download.
