About this app

The Network Speed ​​Widget shows you immediately how much network traffic your Android device is currently using. View live download and upload speeds in the app, on your home screen, and on supported Android versions, also in the status bar.

The app is designed as a simple and clear network monitor without unnecessary extra features.

LIVE NETWORK SPEED

The current download and upload speeds are updated approximately every second. This allows you to see immediately whether your device is using a lot or a little network traffic at that moment.

The widget displays, among other things:

• current download speed
• current upload speed
• active network connection
• graph of recent network traffic

The graph shows the incoming and outgoing traffic from the last few seconds, so changes are immediately visible.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET

Add the Network Speed ​​Widget to your Android home screen and view your current network speed without opening the app first.

The widget is customizable. You can, among other things:

• change text color
• change download color
• change upload color
• adjust graph colors
• set the transparency of the widget background

This allows you to customize the widget to match your own background and Android theme.

DATA USAGE AND HISTORICAL STATISTICS

Optionally, the app can also display statistics regarding data usage.

View separately:

• download traffic
• upload traffic
• total data usage

The statistics can be viewed by:

• day
• week
• month

With the navigation buttons, you can easily scroll back to previous days, weeks, and months and fast-forward to the current period.

This feature is optional and is disabled by default. Android Usage Access may be required for historical statistics.

STATUS BAR SPEED

On supported Android versions, the current total network speed can also be displayed in the status bar.

This allows you to keep track of your current network traffic while using other apps. SUPPORTED CONNECTIONS

PRIVACY FRIENDLY

The app is designed to perform network measurements locally on your Android device.

The live speed is calculated using network traffic counters made available by Android.
