About this app

TopLogger is a FREE app to log your indoor climbs, see what you topped, and what is yet to be done. It gives you that extra incentive to tick them all, whether it's boulders, routes or both.

Why use TopLogger:

• TOPPING MATTERS: Climbing a route or topping a boulder influences your dashboard, showing a listing of your progress, your strength, your grade, and optionally your ranking in the gym.

• UPDATES ABOUT NEW CLIMBS: select which gyms and what grades you want to be notified about. Check out the new boulder circuits or routes in your gym, and see whats next to be removed.

• INTUITIVE INTERFACE: TopLogger follows the latest design guidelines, offering an interactive map-view of the climbing gym with intuitive interface. Easily switch to list view to show the boulders grouped by circuit. Ticking climbs has never been easier.

Ratings and reviews

The progress tracking is my main use for the app, and it is pretty nice so far, but it is missing a lot of tracking features (which can be found on an external website). Especially seeing data like what I ticked in a session and how many boulders of a certain grade I have ticked/flashed would be a nice addition (like a visualised grade pyramid). Some of the UX and UI design choices also feel a little strange. The app could be really good if updated.

Almost never works. Haven't been actually able to even use the app more than twice. For the last 4 months I have opened the app to "Couldn't connect to toplogger". My internet works fine, it's just this app is literally completely unuseable. None of my friends have been able to get it to work either, I'm assuming it's just completely broken at this stage? Regardless I'd like it to work again so I can downgrade my Gym's routes.

I was experiencing the same issue where it would not connect to the service and effectively was broken. Contacted the team through IG and they were very helpful. They advised to try connecting through the web platform (app.toplogger.nu) and then try the app. Connected through web, uninstalled and reinstalled for good measure. While it still opens the app on the 'Couldnt connect to Toplogger' splash, leaving it for 10 seconds or so will actually load the app as intended. Hope this helps!
