Dangerously inaccurate App is lovely but data is dangerously wrong. I can see the lightning out of the window but the app says nothing within 100 km in the last 30 mins. The storm has been moving this way for hours and Netweather has a current red alert for thunderstorms. I work at height and need something I can rely on to warn me when strikes are getting close. This isn't it unless they can get better data.
Wanted to like it, but... ...it could never seem to find my location, either by network or by gps. I run several other weather apps and they all find my location without any problems.
Doesn't work At Disney and heard thunder, app says it's 13 miles away and it struck right over our heads. I kept checking the app as the storm raged on and it never showed the lightening that was coming down all around us.
It's good when it works I have lightening ay the moment at this app is not picking it up
Samsung galaxy S6 Edge Very good app. Keeps me up to date with local storms
I love it I have always loved thunderstorms, and so was very happy to find this app. I was tracking lightening strikes as they hit the south coast of the UK last night using this app, and was looking forward to them arriving in Surrey, and they did! I found the app very accurate, and the alarm feature worked well. Next time I know thunderstorms are aproaching, I can warn my family / friends in advance. I would love to get more involved by investing in a detector, but Looking at the equipment, I don't think I am skilled enough to get the soldering iron out and start messing with circuit boards etc. Thanks to everyone involved in this project.
