About this app

Hop on your bike and head out for some fresh air with the STADTRADELN app as your daily companion! Join in and ride with your team for 21 days to support your community, collect kilometers, and promote cycling, climate protection, and a better quality of life. Use the app in fall and winter, too, to reach your personal kilometer goals and report dangerous sections in your community for more safety on your bike routes all year round.

Easily collect kilometers
The STADTRADELN app is your daily companion on your bike routes. Track kilometers via GPS or enter them manually to quickly and easily collect kilometers for yourself and your team.

Quickly report dangerous sections
Report dangerous sections on your daily bike routes to your municipality using the RADar! feature and help ensure they can be improved. Together, we can create safe and pleasant bike lanes for everyone!

Creating a cycling experience together
Cycle together with your team, rack up the miles, and compete against other teams in your community throughout the campaign. Stay informed about your teammates’ activities through the team news feed. Support your teammates’ achievements with a “Like” and motivate them to reach new kilometer goals.

Stay up to date on your municipality and the campaign
Compare your team with other teams in your municipality during the campaign and stay informed about promotions, events, and news from your municipality. Keep track of your municipality’s position in the global rankings and see how other municipalities are doing.

Your achievements and data
Collect kilometers and earn exciting awards. Manage your kilometer progress and reports quickly and easily. Export your kilometer achievements to your system health app for more health data.

CITY CYCLING Stars
For CITY CYCLING Stars, the app provides the option to create and manage blog posts throughout the campaign.

Ratings and reviews

The tracking does not really work consistently and stops during the trip. Data is lost then, unfortunately. The server is slow to load the account data.

The amount of bugs... Text doesn't always get displayed correctly (starts out of screen). Loading gets stuck. Opening "settings" says you are logged out (but previous page says you are logged in). Pulling down (refreshing) in settings suddenly logs you in... When you open settings, sometimes you can't go back and have to close the app and reopen it. Filtering in "results", "total" doesn't work. And that's not all. Didn't log any routes for now but at the moment I'm not expecting much.

The tracking part works just fine, but for some reason team and community rankings don't load in my app. Maybe it is due to my phone, but I haven't figured out what would cause that. Other than that, the app is fine. EDIT: The support team reached out super fast and a full restart fixed the non working features, so full stars from me. Thanks!
