Ratings and reviews

Painful UI with no ability to copy expense details from one entry to the next. You can't even tab to select an item once found in the drop down. lots of clicking and typing to use this app. sure, you can scan a receipt or use an attached credit card but the category, an sother fields are a pain. once entered for the first expense on a report, that detail (category, class, project/ customer should default on the next expense or have a way to mass update.

Every single time I open an expense, I go to edit something and the screen shifts. This is beyond frustrating when I am in a hurry. The reason for the shift is that the page loads before the PDF receipt thumbnail is ready. The thumbnail is rarely useful to me anyway. The thumbnail should be forced to display only the template size, so that it doesn't shift the page when it finishes loading. Also, the algorithm does not detect some basic things like Lyft.

Gee Golly, what a horrible app experience. I could sit here and break down every issue that I have experienced with this app and have a blast doing so. But for your sake of time, we can put it like this; any function this app provides is clunky all the way through and will not submit properly nearly %50 of the time. It's that simple, if at all possible, use the web interface on a desktop where, although be it slow, works fine. Sorry that your company also has you using this app. Stay strong.

What's new

We've completely redesigned the app with realtime chat built into every transaction. It keeps your money (and any conversations about it) together in one place, flowing smoothly, and eliminates the need for every combination of email, text, call, and app that you currently use to run your back office.

Oh, and if you're used to the old version of Expensify, we've kept it in place for now.
