The National School of Drama (NSD), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is recognised as one of the world’s premier institutions for theatre training. Established in 1959 by the Sangeet Natak Akademi and granted autonomy in 1975, NSD has grown over six decades into a major hub for theatrical knowledge exchange, practice, and performance. Rang Akash, the internet radio initiative of the National School of Drama (NSD), is the newest addition to its continuous effort to enrich the theatrical landscape of the nation by nurturing an empowered and informed theatre community.

Located in Mandi House, New Delhi—one of the country’s major performing arts hubs—Rang Akash will support the theatre community and enthusiasts with valuable information, entertainment, and educational programming tailored to their needs and interests.
