When you shop with ShopGoodwill, you’re helping fund our mission of providing job training and placement services to thousands of people. Each item’s final sale price goes back into the local Goodwill that listed the item, and around 85 cents of every dollar go back into funding our mission, so this means your purchases are making a difference in local communities throughout the country. Worst interface ever. Barely considered intuitive, nothing ever works right. Even hitting back (because they provide no back to previous page button) sends you straight to the home page. They don't send notifications about ending items unless you bid on it. Basically, it is useless. I never remember to check Goodwill from the browser but can't do anything from the app so guess I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Trash app don't install. They got rid of the ads and now if you search and look at an item the search results go back to the beginning. If you search the results will say 1000 but you can only see maybe 20? If you search "men's" you get women's also because men's is in the word. So it is pointless. Goodwill needs a feedback form. If you are going to put your good stuff online at least make an app somewhat decent.

June 2025: they made this app completely useless with the addition of show-loading ads that autoplay with SOUND on. Uninstalled. Couple fixes needed. The "enter" button on the keyboard doesn't prompt a search like it should, so you have to actually click the search button. Also, the banner at the bottom of every screen about how Goodwill helps people needs to go away. It's distracting and gets in the way of search results. Maybe just show at startup if you're so convicted about keeping it?
