About this app

TCWCortex Tools is TCW's field application. It allows technicians to troubleshoot problems independently at the client's site, without needing to access the manufacturer's screen or a laptop.

Within the client's network, the app locates equipment, shows what is actually connected, updates when necessary, and opens the device's interface—in Portuguese, with easy access in just a few taps.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Search for equipment
• Find controllers, readers, modules, and IP cameras in the client's environment
• Clearly view the model, address, and status: what's online, what's out of range, and what needs attention
• Filter the list by name, address, or model
• Open the equipment with one touch

Update and open
• Update the equipment's system over the network when a new version is available
• Open the device's interface within the app, with a button to close and return
• Open by address when you already know where the equipment is located

Cameras
• Search for cameras on-site
• View video and adjust essential settings without leaving the application

Daily diagnostics
• Ping with live graph to see if the device responds
• Mobile network test: internet, gateway, and Path to Destination
• See which network the cell phone is on
• See nearby Wi-Fi networks and turn on the radio when needed
• Test if the equipment allows opening the interface, video, and remote access

Information
• View app version, news, and terms of use

DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD TECHNICIAN
• Simple language: the error becomes an instruction, not a raw message
• The happy path is a few taps; what is dangerous requires confirmation
• When the device reports an address and in practice connected to another, the app shows what actually worked
• Works on Android 8 or higher

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
• It is not a production line/factory tool
• It does not record equipment via bench cable
• It does not replace the condominium or company management system
• It is not a social network and does not display ads

PRIVACY AND LOCAL NETWORK
The app needs access to the local network to discover and communicate with equipment on the client's Wi-Fi or wired network. Generally, we do not collect personal data for our servers. Details are available in the app's Privacy Policy.
