This can be a truly life-changing app if you put in the short amount of time each day, or even every 3rd day. The guided meditation practices, the theory and the conversations are what set Waking Up apart from the other mediation apps. Sam is really giving you the tools needed to make lasting changes in your life. I can't recommend it enough. Big fan here, big fan.

An amazing meditation app. One of the best features to me is that the app will become buggy and the playback pauses if your phone is not left on the waking up app ie. if you switch to messages or Instagram. It is unclear if this is intentional, however it has been a fun addition to my practice which allows me to remain even more present in my meditations. :)

I've been "wanting" so badly to have a regular meditation practice but struggled to stay still, keep a onsistent daily practice, and when I actually did set the time my "body mind" seemed to come up with endless tasks that needed immediate attention. But since downloading this app I've found it easy, even exciting to keep my daily practice. I find myslef looking forward to them now. My favorite part is the customization feature to change duration, background noise, ect.
